Athletic Journey
Condoleeza’s love for swimming began at a young age after being inspired by her elder brother, who introduced her to the sport. What started as admiration gradually became a passion and a major part of her identity. Swimming gave her confidence, discipline, peace, and a space where she felt limitless.
However, her journey took a painful turn in 2019 after a tragic accident resulted in the amputation of her left arm. The experience became one of the most difficult periods of her life physically, emotionally, and mentally. Despite moments of fear, uncertainty, and self-doubt, she refused to allow the tragedy to define her future.
With strong support from her family, faith, and personal determination, she returned to the swimming pool. Over time, swimming became more than just a sport – it became part of her healing and purpose. Every training session reminded her that she was still capable, strong, and worthy of achieving her dreams.
Competing internationally has further strengthened her belief that disability does not limit potential. Through her performances and determination, she continues to prove that resilience and courage can overcome even the most difficult challenges.
Goals and Aspirations
Condoleeza dreams of representing Uganda at the Paralympic Games and competing on the biggest international stages in the world. Beyond medals and competition, she hopes to inspire children and young persons with disabilities to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams confidently.
Her mission is to show that no setback is greater than belief, discipline, courage, and hard work.
